ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Director of Implementation to join our team that oversees the planning and coordination required to implement our CrateOM software solution while interfacing directly with clients and our internal Engineering and Product teams. A great fit for the team is a tech savvy leader with a strong focus on client-centricity and experience within the manufacturing industry.

You will be responsible for managing the complete process of the client’s implementation projects analyzing requirements, making configuration recommendations, identifying, and managing project changes and risks, delivering projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have a track record of building and managing a team of implementation consultants
  • Be an excellent coach, develop and motivate colleagues to provide high levels of service
  • Oversee management of the complete implementation process from contract signature to customer go-live
  • Communicate complex technical concepts simply and clearly
  • Experience in working with system integrator partners in collaboration of larger Smart Factory strategies and implementations 
  • Be the main contact for GTM (go-to-market) partners – both system integrator and other technology ones (such as Microsoft) for the CrateOM solution 
  • Identify and develop the necessary assets for successful CrateOM solution deployment (SOW’s, SLA’s, presentations, POC structure to full rollout, …) and develop in collaboration with Marketing and our product team.
  • Control project scope based on a signed contract/SOW with the client and a thorough understanding of our CrateOM solution 
  • Hold and manage executive client relations for the CrateOM solution
  • Develop a team of technical SME’s for pre-sales and post sales (aka implementations) to pitch, test, drive successful POC’s, and implement CrateOM in collaboration with partners (either prime or sub) 
  • Anticipate any potential delays or roadblocks (internal or external), communicate them promptly to the right audience, and help identify and implement potential solutions to minimize project risk
  • Contribute to our Product Roadmap by communicating current and future features and needs driven by clients to the relevant partners within our organization to ensure our solution continues to lead the domain


YOUR SKILLS

  • 7-10 years' experience leading projects within manufacturing business development, inclusive of client-facing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline
  • Significant experience in managing large enterprise clients successfully delivering complex software solutions
  • Advanced technical solutions implementation, consulting, or support experience 
  • Experience in working with other partners (system integrators, ISV’s) on proposals and implementations 
  • People management experience
  • Understanding of Project Management methods and how to apply them to achieve project results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong communicator, well organized and analytical
  • Fluent English language skills, German a plus
